The rules of the house — bookings, the gaming floor, private events and what happens when plans change. Effective from January 2026.

Using the site and the venue.

Who we are
rareglow.pro is run by RareGlow Hospitality Limited, 391 Andersons Bay Road, South Dunedin, Dunedin 9012. References to "we" mean this company.
By booking, you accept
A confirmed booking — by email or in person — means you accept these terms for that stay or event.
Changes to terms
House rules may be updated from time to time; the version on this page is the one that applies to your booking.
02 — Bookings & payment
How a booking works here.
24-hour holds
Every enquiry holds your dates for 24 hours, no deposit. After that the room goes back on the board.
Pay on arrival
Rooms and tables are paid at the venue — card or cash. Corporate events can be invoiced by arrangement.
Free cancellation — 48 h
Cancel up to 48 hours before arrival at no cost. Inside 48 hours, one night is charged.

House rules for the tables.
The short version — the full house rules are posted at the floor entrance.
18+ with physical ID
The gaming floor, the high-limit lounge and every private party are strictly 18+. Bring physical ID — photos on phones don't count.
House chips only
All tables run on house chips — no cash at the tables, no side bets. Gaming credits from room packages are non-transferable.
Play stays friendly
House staff may refuse service or end a game at their discretion. Intoxicated guests are asked to take a break — no arguments, no exceptions.
04 — Private events
Hiring the floor or the hall.
Event agreements
Private parties and conferences are confirmed by a written quote. The quote, plus these terms, forms the whole agreement.
Host responsibility
The named host is responsible for their guests' conduct in the venue, including the 18+ floor rule and house chips policy.
Holding the date
Event dates are held for 7 days from enquiry, then released unless confirmed in writing.
05 — Liability & law
The serious bit, kept short.
Liability
Our liability for any claim connected to a stay or event is limited to the amount paid for that booking. Nothing here limits rights you have under New Zealand consumer law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by New Zealand law, and any dispute is handled in the Dunedin courts.
House policies
Gaming floor: 18+ with physical ID. Bar service: responsible service rules apply at all times. Management reserves the right of refusal.
